Virtual Registration Process for New 9th grade Enrollments - 2020-2021 School Year

The last day to register is June 4th. We will open registration again in July.


The following steps describe the virtual registration process for new 9th grade enrollments for the 2020-2021 school year. A printable version of these instructions are available for download here.

Step 1 - Parents/Guardian - Complete Registration Google Form to provide pertinent information (i.e. email, etc.).

Step 2 - Parents/Guardian - After parent/guardian completes the Registration Google Form, send all required registration documents:

  1. Parent/Guardian Photo ID.
  2. Student birth certificate.
  3. Proof of Residency (gas or electric bill).
  4. Up-to-date immunizations (state requirement)(Kaiser patient immunizations found at
  5. Last report card (if available).
  6. IEP or 504 accommodations (if applicable).
  7. Guardian/Custody paperwork (if applicable)

Step 3 - PHS Staff - After all required documents have been received (including Photo ID for verification purposes), email parent/guardian code for PowerSchool account.

Step 4 - Parent/Guardian - Complete the PowerSchool Enrollment (Online Registration) as soon as possible after receiving your PowerSchool code via email. If you need assistance, you may call the Counseling Office at (661) 383-2332 or book an appointment with Ms. Orantes (Book Appointment) or Ms. Ortega (Book Appointment).

Step 5 - PHS Staff - After Steps 1-4 have been completed, email a link to the Course Selection form, which includes links to apply to available programs like AVID, Health Career Academy, Engineering Academy, etc. 

Step 6 - PHS Staff - After steps 1-5 have been completed, verify that the chosen courses by the student are accurate, then enroll the students in 2020-2021 classes in PowerSchool.
