Tech support hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on school days (Monday - Friday). No support is available on weekends and holidays. Below are several options depending on the support needed. This information only applies to technology obtained from Palmdale High School. If you have equipment obtained from another AVUHSD site, you need to contact that site for support.
Requesting A School Chromebook and/or Hotspot
Student can request a Chromebook and/or Hotspot by completeing the Contact US form by clicking HERE. Make sure to include your name, your student ID number, and the reason for your need. We have a limited supply but expect more Chromeboks in the near future. Student can only login to the Chromebooks with their AVUHSD email account. They will not work with your personal Google accounts.
Chromebook or Hotspot Issues
If you are experiencing issues with a school provided Chromebook or Hotspot, students must bring the effectived device(s) to room 811 so a computer technican can repair the equipment or authorize an exchange. Make sure you bring the power adpaters for both Chromebooks and/or Hotspots. If the student is on Independent Study, you can send an email or text message* to email@example.com. All effort will be made to respond as soon as possible.
PowerSchool Access - Parents and Students
When students are enrolled, PowerSchool login information for both the student and the parent are provided by the counseling department. If you are unable to locate your PowerSchool login information, you can contact the counselor department (CLICK HERE for contact information) or Mrs. Brisco (firstname.lastname@example.org) X401.

Google Account Access
All students have a Google Account for email, class assignments, and other services. During enrollment your student was provided this information. If you do not have your Google account information or you are unable to login to your Google account, send an email or text message* to email@example.com to request a password reset. Please include the student's name and ID number. If you are emailing from an email address not on record in PowerSchool then you must include the student's date of birth for verification. NO INFORMATION WILL BE SENT WITHOUT VERIFICATION. If you are unable to email us, then call (661) 273-3181, ext. 401, 175, 169, or 168. One of our support staff will assist you with Google account.
