Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. PBIS teaches students positive behavior strategies just like any other subject. PBIS recognizes that students can only meet behavioral expectations if they know what the expectations are. Everyone learns what is considered to be appropriate behavior and uses a common language to talk about it.

Many people, young and old alike, feel unsure of themselves. This site is intended to be a quick stop to help yourself get back on track. Visit the Palmdale High School CARE Desk for more information.
